Aight, the first money program that we’re rolling is our Website Referral Program which allows members to be able to earn money and points by referring new members to the Fam Club. Each new sign up that you generate through your Friend Link is worth 10 cents or 100 point points. Now, although 10 cents may not seem like a lot at first glance, it can definitely add up to some green leaves over a short period of time if you ‘bout yo business. Besides, 10 cents per sign up is 10 cents more than Myspace or any of those other websites is paying ya so you might as well get down for the get down, ya’ dig. Consider this program as a tune up to get you prepared for some of the big money programs that we have coming over the next few months.
Aight Fam, to get started, the First thing you need is Sign UP for the Referral Program. You can do this by simply dropping me a message in my Fam Club Inbox at www.thefamclub.com/cheek. In the Subject line of the message, just type in “Sign Me up for The Referral Program”. After dropping me a message, come back to this page to find on how you can start getting paid. How it Works (Transcript from Video):
The Fam Club provides you with a Referral Link that you can email to your friends, post in bulletins, and place in blogs all over the internet. The Referral Link has your Member ID attached to it.
Whenever someone clicks on your Referral Link and then signs up for The Fam Club, 100 Points gets credited to your account, which is the equivalent to 10 cents.
You can track the number of points you have on the “My Account” page. The link for the “My Account” page is located in the Upper right hand corner of the Fam Club Website.
You can Promote your link in several different ways.
One of the easiest ways to invite friends is to use our built in “Invite a friend” features located at the top of the Fam Club Website which allows you to send out blasts to your friend in a few different ways including:
a) Bulletin Postings to your friends on Myspace, Facebook and other Community Website.
b) Mail Messaging directly to your friends on all the Community Websites
c) Email Blasting which allows you to invite people from your free email account address books like Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail, and other systems.
There are a variety of other ways you can get sign ups such as by posting your link throughout the internet in blogs, forums, emails and other creative ways. You can also send out messages from your own personal account to your family and friends. Just be sure to include your Referral Link when sending Invites so you can get credit for your sign ups.

When do I get paid?
Users who meet our minimum payout requirement of only $5 are eligible to get paid. Payments are currently processed on every other Saturday, with the first round of payments being processed on May 3, 2008.
How will I receive my Payment?
Members in the United States will have the option of either receiving their payment by PayPal or by Mail in the form of a check. Members outside of the US must have their payment processed by PayPal.
Prior to your first payment, you will receive an email requesting that you provide us with your preferred payout method, name, and address to which is to be mailed to or paid to.
I referred my friend and it didn't give me credit?
The most common problem we encounter is when the sign ups come from the same household, computer, the same dormitory at a university, or a shared IP address. We know that there are some people out who will try to get over by simply signing up multiple accounts from their computer all day. Our IP address tracking system helps us to identify this type of activity. Members who get caught up in this are probably going to be S.O.L. We also have other methods to combat these types of referrals. We will not pay out on fraudulent referrals. We will work diligently to pay all legitimate referrals. We’re Fam now, so we gotta’ work with each other to keep it real.
